Greatest light show ever and same engeneering stunts that Paul McCartney used...got to be a combination of live and prerecorded. The show was smooth as silk. Every aspect choreographed with a set that was spectacular down to the detail. Pete and Rodger didn't make asses of themselves either, they acted their age. A publicity tour de force. Any estimates as to the cost?

I can't say I was disappointed because I wasn't expecting much, but they seemed like a WHO Parody to me. It was sad. At least Pete could have smashed that Strat to bits. Probably he was simply overwhelmed by his feminine side. lol

They did a pre-game acoustic "Preview" show that I thought was pretty good though.

I've been a WHO fan for years and seen a lot of concerts going back to 1968. Some shows have been fantastic, epiphanies even, and some a big disappointment. Musicaly they've been hit or me but the visual has always been impressive no matter what. For me the Super Bowl show was so-so but pretty bland music wise AND visually. It was a medly, which is no different than a cover bands tribute to the Who. But the biggest thing for me was the total lack of rawness and power that makes them "WHO" they are. Just to polished for me. What we saw was what you'll see if the Who ever turns into a Vegas act like Elton John or Celine Dion. Thank God for those of us that have seen them at their peak. The old Who would have demolished that stage, and the fireworks would have been real!!!!

I think I expected too much. The bas was lackluster, the sound was not good from the start. It took a while for the sound to be balanced. It seemed the get better about a little more than half way through.
I agree with it being a Vegas type act.
