Here is an excellent condition 1986 Ibanez Artist. Crafted in Japan and signed by the maker. From the Hey Day of Ibanez. Serial number: D860796.
This is in excellent, excellent shape. Very fvery few hours on it for the age. Original pick ups. I work on guitars. I always have to improve things. Here is what I did to the guitar. I added a master volume. Thats the little black knob right by the pickguard. Very, very useful with this guitar. I did a fret dress. NOT BECAUSE OF MESSED UP FRETS. There was practically zero wear on these frets when I got the guitar. I fret dress NEW guitars to make them "perfectly" level. For playability. Everyone likes it when I do these. I also have a midrandge potentiameter just under the pickguard. You can't see it. With this you can reduce the midrandge on the rythem pick up only. It's under the pick guard, because you set it and forget it. You can clean up the rythem pick up to your taste. I can remove that if you like. As you can see it doesn't affect the looks.
This is a player. Try and find a Gibson Custom Shop as nice as this and see what that would cost you. Forget "off the rack" Gibsons, this will blow those away. This is quality from the Ibanez quality hey day. The neck on this is so nice. Some how it's just the right size. That was the comment when I bought it and I found it to be true. Every inch.
Non original case but it's new.

There is no hole drilled under the pickguard for the midrandge controll pot. I have it in the F-hole between two washers with the stem broke off, so it fits very nicely.
